Hello!
Use my latest MT1389 Flasher
http://newage.mpeg4-players.info/mt1389 ... tools.html
You can easilly edit the flash database (text file) or if you send me the debug log of the reading (only 1% reading enough) I'll edit the database.

"Re: [mt13x9] Re: AEG DVD 4532 and EON EN25F80 Flash
Hello!
Put this line into the [Flash] section:
2MB version:
0xFE, 0x3E, 0x200000, 0x10000, EON EN25F80
1MB version:
0xFE, 0x3E, 0x100000, 0x10000, EON EN25F80
However!! According to the PDF "The EN25F80 is a 8M-bit (1024K-byte) Serial Flash memory" that means it is a 1MB serial flash and it is already in my flash database in the [Serial Flash] section.
0x1C, 0x31, 0x14, 0x00, 0x100000, 0x1000, 0x02, 0x03, 0xD8, 0xC7, 0x05, 0x01, 0x06, 0x06, 0x01, 4, EN25F80,
Please do a full reading as a normal flash (if it is not in the [Flash] program still can read it!). But I'm sure it won't read the firmware.
If it is really the EN25F80 that you have than it is a 8 pin small chip and you have to do the serial flash read/write method I've already described:
- plug off the player
- connect pin 1 and pin 4 of the flash (CS# /Chip Select/ and Vss/GND/)
- plug in the player and turn in if needed
- wait 5-10 sec
- release pin 1 and pin 4
- now start reading/writing with my flasher
I usually solder 2 wires on the 2 pins and connect-disconnect the wires. Much more easy because these sflashes are really small.
Serial Flash reading/writing protocoll of mediatek is slow like hell. Reading of 1MB is 30 minutes! writing of 1MB is around 3-4minutes.
Also you have to do reading at least 2-3 times to be sure that reading was ok! becuase it is unstable.

NewAge"
